Executive Assistant (PR067/17-18)
The appointee is expected to provide executive assistance to the Department of Physics. Duties include serving committees, writing reports and preparing correspondences, postgraduate admissions, liaison with students, staff and external bodies, managing projects, alumni relations, providing general administrative support, and performing any other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Science. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is essential. They should also possess strong communication, organisation and analytical skills; be creative and proactive, mature and able to work independently. Literacy in computing applications is required. Knowledge/background in physics is preferred.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
