Professor SK So is awarded a NFSC/RGC grant of 1.19 million to conduct research on ternary polymer solar cells (9-Nov-2016)

We congratulate Professor SK So for securing a grant of HKS1,192,000 from the NSFC/RGC Joint Research Scheme 2016/17 sponsored by the Research Grant Council (RGC) of Hong Kong. The title of the project is “Unraveling the fundamental mechanism of synergistic effect in ternary bulk-heterojunction blends for photovoltaic applications”. The project is in collaboration with Professor Xiaotao Hao from Shangdong University, China. Teams from both sides will study the fundamental optoelectronic properties of ternary blends designed for polymer solar cells. The project will start in Jan 2017 and will last for 4 years.
