Centre Mission

Mission
  • To develop advanced computational and modeling methodologies for analyzing complex biological data;
  • To build a central wet lab facility for mammalian cell and microbiology experimentation;
  • To initiate and assist collaborations on systems biology research and applications.

  • Current Research Projects

    Projects
  • Differential regulations of Bcl-2 network in anti-mitotic drug induced mitotic arrest.
  • Cell-cycle and cell-type dependence of Bcl-2 network dynamics profiled by mitochondrial proteomics.
  • Dynamics of p53 pathway in deciding cell fate of senescence or apoptosis in response to different DNA damaging reagents.
  • Structure-dynamics-function relationships in large-scale complex brain networks.
  • Population level modeling of bacteria growth and migration inside a tumor and its effect on tumor growth.
  • Experimental and theoretical study of osmostress response through the Hog pathway in yeast.
  • Statistical mechanical study of noise propagation in molecular networks.
  • Bioinformatics study of synergistic gene regulation and regulatory hierarchy in yeast.
