A Welcome Message from Head

Welcome to the PHYS Family! A new and exciting journey begins this semester.

At the Semester Kick-off Lunch (開Sem飯) on 2 September 2026, Prof. Zhu, Head of the Physics Department and Chair Professor, warmly welcomed all students who have joined our PHYS Family. Make this your home, and let us be part of your rewarding, fulfilling, and successful journey throughout this academic year.

At the same time, the Department congratulates BSc in GEST Year 2 student, CHING Ray Yern and LEUNG Yin Tsun, and Year 3 students, WU Shijie and HE Zizheng, on receiving the GEST Outstanding Student Award in recognition of their outstanding performance in AY2025-26.
