Dr Zhou Yuanyuan & Dr Tian Liang Awarded National Natural Science Foundation (NSFC) Grants
Congratulations to seven academic staff members from the Faculty of Science, HKBU who have been awarded a total of RMB 2.1 Million grants from the National Natural Science Foundation (NSFC).
Dr ZHOU Yuanyuan (Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics) has been awarded NSFC Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Hong Kong and Macau). The funding award is RMB 2 Million and the funding period is 3 years. Dr TIAN Liang (Assistant Professor of the Department of Physics) and Dr WANG Jun (Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry) have been awarded NFSC – The General Program Fund. The funding awards are RMB 550K and 540K respectively. Dr LIU Hao (Assistant Professor of the Department of Mathematics) and three members of the Department of Computer Science including Dr MA Jing (Assistant Professor), Dr XUE Wei (Assistant Professor) and Dr CHAN Tsz-Nam Edison (Research Assistant Professor) have been awarded NSFC – Young Scientists Fund. They will each receive a funding award of RMB 300K.
