Professor Furong Zhu being awarded Guangdong-Hong Kong Technology Cooperation Funding Scheme (TCFS) - Platform Project 2022/23
Professor Furong ZHU, Associate Dean (Research and Postgraduate Studies) of the Faculty of Science and Professor of Department of Physics of HKBU, has received funding from Guangdong-Hong Kong Technology Cooperation Funding Scheme (TCFS) - Platform Project in 2022/23, for his project on “Solution-Processable Near-Infrared Photodetectors for Imaging Applications”. The total award amount is HK$3 million (covering a period of 24 months), including HK$2,700,000 from the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) and HK$300,000 from industry sponsorship.

Launched in September 2004, TCFS aims to enhance the level of collaboration on research and development (R&D) among universities, research institutes and technology enterprises in Hong Kong and Guangdong/Shenzhen.
