Recruitment of Research Assistant Professor (PR0803/21-22)
The Department is recruiting ONE scholar at the rank of Research Assistant Professor in the area of photovoltaics and energy materials to support the on-going development of interdisciplinary energy research within the department and the university.
Applicants should have (i) a relevant PhD degree; (ii) strong commitment to excellence in research and mentoring/teaching; and (iii) outstanding accomplishments and research potential. The candidates with relevant postdoctoral research experiences in reputed institutes will be considered with priority. The applicants are expected to have experience and publication records in two or more of following research areas:
- Perovskite solar cells
- Emergent properties (mechanical, thermoelectric, etc.) of thin film materials
- Solution synthesis and processing
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract up to two years starting on or after 1 December 2022. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
