The Annual Retreat of the Department of Physics

The Department of Physics held its annual retreat in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Tseung Kwan O on June 25. The Department was delighted to have the Dean, Professor Jiming Liu as guest. Some members also joined the retreat via zoom. Topics discussed spanned teaching & learning, research, and resources. Besides the meeting room discussions, informal discussions were made over the lunch. They were extremely fruitful and offered guidance for strategic directions of the department in the year ahead, in particular on the reform of the undergraduate teaching programme.
